Julie is the founder and President of PurEnergy Health and Wellness Services. When it comes to health and fitness, Julie has been there...done it. For over 25 years Julie has created innovative fitness programs, taught fitness and Spinning classes, and lectured on a huge variety of health and fitness topics. Julie stays on top of all the latest fitness research and incorporates what "works" into everything PurEnergy does. For Julie Luther, health and fitness is more than an interest or a job - it is a passion.

Nursing, personal training and yoga certifications have molded me into a functional trainer that works to create a balanced body. By using weights, cardio, and yoga I help your body find its true center, a place that feels good and looks good. To do this you also must work on balancing the inner self. I believe that transforming the way you feel and think is the most important aspect of being fit. Working out becomes play time as we work through obstacles and tackle the negative ideas that keep you in the same unsuccessful patterns. Eating a balanced diet and working out will become a joyful experience.

For Carol, fitness is a means to an end- not an end in itself. She knows from personal experience how taking time to exercise and making healthful eating choices results in more energy, patience, and stamina for her active life as a wife and mother of four. She finds great satisfaction in using her skills in teaching, encouragement, and organization to help her clients realize their fitness goals. Her philosophy is time spent exercising will be multiplied back in terms of extra energy and a better ability to handle life's ups and downs.

A former sedentary, obese smoker, Mary Hughes converted to Fitness in 1996 and has been a Certified Johnny G Spin Instructor since March 1998. By day she's a computer geek for a local law firm, after-hours you can find her at the PurEnergy Spin Gym or on her famous purple LandShark road bike. She learned to swim at age 40, participates in sprint triathlons, covers 4000 miles per year on a bicycle, jogs 500 miles each year, weight trains and brings all this to you in her lively classes

Lisa Amani has been working full time as a certified yoga instructor since 1996. Originally trained in Integral Yoga (trademark), she holds a variety of yoga certifications including Flow yoga, and Sadhana Yoga Chi. Lisa has experience teaching people of all ages and levels of practice/proficiency. She used yoga to help heal her own body of injuries resulting from a car accident; and therefore specializes in modifying yoga to suit the needs and limitations of the student. Her classes range from the very gentle to the very challenging, thus offering something to anyone with an interest in learning yoga.

Mary began teaching aerobics, part-time, for the first time ever as a PurEnergy instructor in 1997. She has served, six full years of aerobic/sculpt instruction at PurEnergy’s on-site corporate classes. She works full-time at Cone Mills Corporation. Her all time favorite move is the "squat". This is why she is often known as "Mary, Queen of Squats". Mary is an encourager and motivator and sincerely cares about helping people get fit.

She is happily married to Monte, with one stepdaughter, Monica, and grandson, Dalton. Her hobbies include water-skiing, gardening, and spending time and taking care of her animals - Persian cat, Kiwi, and Husky - Jazzman

I have been teaching aerobics for about 15 years, body sculpting for 10 and spinning for 6. Yoga is my newest venture with expericnce since 2002. I instruct solely for PurEnergy because I believe in Julie's commitment to the health and well being of her members and instructors. Some of the many pleasures I derive from instructing are watching participants in classes become stronger, more coordinated, more self assured, and of course watching the pounds melt away! Licensed Massage Therapist

Abby joined the PurEnergy team in October 2002. She Graduated from GTCC, High Point, in July 2000, after completing a 625 Hour Massage Therapy Certification Program. Abby specializes in working with chronic pain conditions, prenatal clients, myofascial release and Thai massage. Abby was married in September 2007.

As a former college athlete, fitness and diet have always been an important part of my life.
